Annual User applications are now live for the 2024 season!

January 2nd, 2024: Buyer Annual User application period begins and be accepted on a rolling basis.

January 2nd - February 2nd, 2024: Grower Annual User application period is now closed.

Grower & Member-Owner applications are now closed for the 2024 season.

 
 

ANNUAL USER

Annual Fee $150

An Annual User has access to buying and/or selling privileges through the Collective for one year. They have full access to the Collective’s services on an annual basis, but they do not have voting rights, board eligibility or decision-making power in the Collective. See below for eligibility requirements.

MEMBER-OWNER

One-Time Equity Investment: $750

A Member-Owner is an owner of the Collective as defined in the Bylaws with voting rights, board eligibility, decision-making power, and profit-sharing potential. In addition to Annual User privileges, Member-Owners receive other perks such as early ordering access for buyers, group buying for growers, etc.

 
 

Annual User ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

January 2nd, 2024: Buyer Annual User application period begins and will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout 2024.

January 2nd - February 2nd, 2024: Grower Annual User application period is now closed.

Buyers

  • Must be a floral professional

  • Must provide a current resale certificate to the Collective upon acceptance

  • Must maintain professional relationships with all parties related to the Collective

  • Must honor the processes, rules and guidelines set forth by the Collective

  • Must have an account with Rooted Farmers (free for buyers!)

Growers

  • Must grow cut flowers at a commercial scale in the state of Maine (for sale through a business)

  • Must have at least one full season of floral wholesale selling experience, including to florists, grocery stores or event designers

  • Must have sold at least $2,000 of annual wholesale floral sales the previous year

  • Products must meet all quality standards set by the Collective (guidelines provided upon acceptance)

  • Must maintain professional relationships with all parties related to the Collective

  • Must sell floriculture products that are grown or foraged exclusively by their own farm in Maine

  • Must honor the processes, rules and guidelines set forth by the Collective

  • Must have an account with Rooted Farmers (MFC discount provided upon acceptance!)

 

MEmber-Owner ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Buyers

  • Must be a floral professional

  • Must maintain a current resale certificate with the Collective

  • Must maintain professional relationships with all parties related to the collective

  • Must honor the processes, rules and guidelines set forth by the Collective

  • Must understand and be prepared to sign the Membership Agreement

  • Must be prepared to participate as an owner of the Collective by voting, attending the annual meeting of the Collective, etc.

Growers

  • Must grow cut flowers at a commercial scale

  • Must have at least two years of wholesale flower sales experience

  • Must complete one year as an Annual User of the Collective before applying to become a Member-Owner

  • Must meet all quality standards put forth by the Collective (guidelines provided upon acceptance)

  • Must maintain professional relationships with all parties related to the Collective

  • Must sell floriculture products that are grown or foraged exclusively by their own farm in Maine

  • Must honor the processes, rules and guidelines set forth by the Collective

  • Must understand and be prepared to sign the Membership Agreement

  • Must be prepared to participate as an owner of the Collective by voting, attending the annual meeting of the Collective, etc.
